What is the Modification Report?

Several things have changed since the project was first designed in 2008:

  • The proposed technology is now more efficient
  • The National Electricity Market needs projects that support the growing amount of renewable
  • energy in the grid
  • Environmental rules have changed
  • The local environment itself has changed

A Modification Report sets out what we want to change and assesses the environmental, social and economic effects of those changes. This report was prepared by Aurecon, an independent consultant, in line with the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) guidelines.
