EnergyAustralia is seeking an updated approval for the Marulan gas-fired power station, originally approved in 2009. This project, designated as critical state significant infrastructure, will be updated to meet current environmental and technical standards. The modification report addresses accommodation for construction workers, aiming to minimize impact on local housing and services while fostering positive community relations and economic benefits.

Throughout May 2026 we are sharing insights from environmental and technical studies from the Modification Report and seeking your views.
